Attendance Information

Florida Statute, Chapter 232 requires the regular school attendance of students, between the ages of 6 and 16 years of age. This statute makes parents and guardians legally responsible for seeing that their children attend school. 

Illness or other legitimate causes will be excused with the permission of the parent/guardian and the school principal, up to 15 days within the school year. After 15 days absence, excused or unexcused, a student must have a doctor's verification for subsequent absences due to illness.  

In order to ensure accuracy in our attendance procedures, please be sure to call in all student absences and follow-up with a written note. Absences can be reported to the school office at (407) 688-9530 or (386) 575-4103.
